The laundry is finally "caught up", Christmas decorations are down, buuuut we're still in major vacation mode. Sean has been off this week and it's really thrown me off my game. We've been staying up too late, watching Deadwood (we're about 13 years behind on that), and enjoying a nightly cocktail...or two. But this is really a re-cap of what we've been up to this week....
{ONE}
Obviously we rang in the new year on Saturday night/Sunday morning. We spent the evening eating dinner and playing games at a friend's home. The kids managed to stay awake until midnight and we did some kissing and cheers-ing!
{TWO}
Monday we were itching to get out of the house a bit so we drove an 1.5 hours...for Jimmy John's. Not really. But kinda. We also hit up Target, Carter's, and Harber Freight.
{THREE}
Tuesday the weather was still really nice so we had some outside playtime while daddy worked on the playhouse (can't wait to share an update on that soon). Thank goodness I have younger cousins...they have the best toys to pass down. ;)
{FOUR}
The kids headed back to school on Thursday. I managed to get the Christmas decoration taken down and organize a little while they were away. We then had some friends over for lunch and playtime.
{FIVE}
Friday afternoon we were surprised with some snow! It doesn't happen very often in south Arkansas so we were pretty excited. The only place it really stuck was on the trampoline, so Wyatt took full advantage. I'm pretty sure he was eating it as fast as it was falling.
And that pretty much sums up our life this week. This weekend we have plans to... continue doing nothing. Except working on the playhouse. And definitely going to the grocery store.
