Our Weekend

Monday, December 19, 2016

Another weekend has come and gone, and we're another weekend closer to 2017. I can't decide how I feel about that. It was a great weekend, even though I wasn't feeling my usual happy self for a majority of it. Thankful to be headed "home" in a couple of days.

Friday night we headed to a Tacky Christmas sweater party at one of Sean's co-workers homes. It was a fun night of eating, drinking, an open fire, and dirty Santa.

Saturday morning we woke up to temps in the 70s so we spent a majority of the day outside. Sean worked on the playhouse, the kids and I played & went for a walk.

Before lunch the kids and I ran out to put bags of popcorn on the Redbox machines for our #25DaysofKindness2016 activity. I was quickly reminded how thankful I am for carts and being able to strap my children down. As you can see, Stella is not found in the picture--pretty sure she was trying to make a run for it.

We ended Saturday night with a trip to Home Depot and Wendy's before the temps rapidly began dropping. Sunday we woke up to 20 degree weather, headed to church, and spent the rest of the day cuddled up inside.

Looking forward to starting our Christmas celebrations and seeing all of our family this week! Have you started your Christmas celebrations yet?
