{FIVE} Favorite Moments of the Week

Friday, December 23, 2016

It's been a week of fitting it all in around here. We've had Christmas parties, present wrapping, traveling--and the fun is just beginning!

{ONE}
We had Wyatt and Stella's Christmas parties on Tuesday at school. They ate too many sweets, saw Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and they each received a present!

{TWO}
We've been knocking out the last couple of days of #25DaysofKindness2016. This week we mailed Christmas cards, put popcorn on DVD rental machines, gave money to the Salvation Army, left money at the laundromat, and delivered cookies to the fire station.
{THREE}
My big helper and I baked cookies this week. We had made cookies for friends, the fire station, and even some left for daddy's work.

{FOUR}
Christmas celebrations have begun and we're enjoying time with family! So far we've opened some presents, looked at Christmas lights, played outside, and even did some baking!

 {FIVE}
I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas and enjoy this weekend with your loved ones!

Our Home at Christmas

Wednesday, December 21, 2016

Christmas is less than a week away and our home is ready!
Excited to share a sneak peek at what our home looks like during the holiday season.

Sean does all of the decorating outside and it's kind of the talk of the town.

I love to hang our Christmas cards in the window next to our table. We can see them while we eat and talk about our friends and family.

Decorations are kind of kept at a minimum since we don't actually celebrate Christmas at home. You can check out last years decorations here

Our Weekend

Monday, December 19, 2016

Another weekend has come and gone, and we're another weekend closer to 2017. I can't decide how I feel about that. It was a great weekend, even though I wasn't feeling my usual happy self for a majority of it. Thankful to be headed "home" in a couple of days.

Friday night we headed to a Tacky Christmas sweater party at one of Sean's co-workers homes. It was a fun night of eating, drinking, an open fire, and dirty Santa.

Saturday morning we woke up to temps in the 70s so we spent a majority of the day outside. Sean worked on the playhouse, the kids and I played & went for a walk.

Before lunch the kids and I ran out to put bags of popcorn on the Redbox machines for our #25DaysofKindness2016 activity. I was quickly reminded how thankful I am for carts and being able to strap my children down. As you can see, Stella is not found in the picture--pretty sure she was trying to make a run for it.

 We ended Saturday night with a trip to Home Depot and Wendy's before the temps rapidly began dropping. Sunday we woke up to 20 degree weather, headed to church, and spent the rest of the day cuddled up inside.

Looking forward to starting our Christmas celebrations and seeing all of our family this week! Have you started your Christmas celebrations yet?

Christmas Jammies are our Jam

Thursday, December 15, 2016

We all know that Christmas time is the most magical time of the year! We love to add to the Christmas magic with matching Christmas jammies!! We bought two different pairs this year, but don't worry, we're still wearing the ones from last year too.

And don't let these pictures fool you--these two made me work for these sweet pictures. Oh, and they also work for marshmallows.

Both Wyatt and Stella each have a small tree in their room. Not only are they adorable but they provide lots of entertainment--lots of redecorating. Stella, of course, picked pink ornaments and Wyatt had to have blue.

Now the question, which ones should they wear on Christmas Eve?? Hmmm...

Fall Family Pictures

Wednesday, December 14, 2016

  Love our little family so much.

We had these family pictures done when we had family in town over Thanksgiving. It was so super cold--Stella was not happy, but I'm so happy with how they turned out.
