Easter Weekend 2016

To start, I'd like to apologize for the picture overload that is about to occur on your screen. It was an amazing weekend and was all captured in photos. 
Easter is a holiday that we usually spend at home. Mainly because we travel for almost every other holiday. But this year my parents came down for the entire weekend and we had the best time! Saturday was filled with Easter egg hunting and dyeing. And Sunday, of course, was filled with Easter baskets, church, and more egg hunting. I'm going to let the pictures do all the talking.

Easter Baskets || 2016

I had greater plans for Easter baskets this year, but I kind of procrastinated. Ok, really procrastinated. Ok-ok, I bought their stuff yesterday. Yes, I actually had nothing.

 But they actually turned out really well and I know they'll enjoy it all! Stella loves Minnie and kitties so there ya' go. Oh, and she was with me when I bought the stuff and just had to have that Old McDonald book. And you can't go wrong with fruit snacks.

Wyatt's two loves right now are Play-doh and Star Wars. I've been wanting to get him an alphabet puzzle and I found that Melissa & Doug one at Wal-Mart for like $7; I couldn't pass it up!

{Five} Favorite Moments of the Week

WOO-HOO!! Not only is today Friday, but it's a long weekend around here!! AND my mom and step-dad are coming down for the weekend!! We have a busy weekend of Easter egg hunting and egg dyeing! Annnyways, here's what we've been up to this week!

{ONE}

Every spring and summer Sean is involved in a golf league through his work, and it started this week. Wyatt was super excited to test out his golfing skills. And super disappointed when daddy took them away. I see some golf clubs in this kids future. And Sissy just likes to jump on the trampoline.

{TWO}

Tuesday was a very busy day for us, surprisingly. Our first stop was a picnic lunch at the park, and one of Wyatt's classmates was there too! They had the best time playing and chasing each other for a good hour.

We then headed to a field day that several of the community churches were hosting. They had kites, bubbles, t-ball, some relays, and a bounce house! Wyatt's favorite thing, hands-down, was the kite flying. Which meant I was chasing him around making sure he wasn't hitting anyone in the head.

Yesterday I shared a post about confessions as a SAHM. These two keep me busy, but I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Also, yesterday, I won an Instagram giveaway hosted by Poppy Whitaker!! I know she has some new items coming and I can't wait to snag a little dress for Stella!!

And last, but not least, I joined Snapchat over the weekend. I'm still trying to figure things out. And I'm not a huge fan of selfies (of myself) so it's taking some getting used to. You can find me as ash_dorey!
