{FIVE} Favorite Moments of the Week

We welcomed an "Elf on the Shelf" into our home. The kids really could care less at this point but we'll see if their excitement changes anytime soon. He did bring us a nice little breakfast but nothing to fancy. ha!
Speaking of Christmas, we have managed to at least get the kids' Christmas trees up. They have enjoyed having them and decorating them! Hoping we'll be able to get our tree this weekend but we'll see.
One of the assignments my students have worked on this semester was a lesson for a Teaching/Learning Fair. We held the 'fair' on Wednesday and welcomed about 220 1st grade students from a nearby elementary school. All of my students did a great job and I was super proud to call them mine at the end of the day. And that was an official wrap on my first semester! I am planning to go back next semester but I'll only be teaching one class.

We're so blessed with some amazing friends! I got stuck in a huge pickle and spent all of Monday trying to find sitters for Tuesday and Wednesday. Thankfully two friends came to my rescue and kept both kids while I was in class.
We've been enjoying some beautiful, cool, weather! I must admit, I'm not a big fan of cool/cold weather, but we're happy it's not raining and to be outside again!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! We're heading to our first Christmas party of the season and hoping to get some decorating complete!
