Countdown to Christmas {LINK-UP}

We are in full-on Christmas mode around here!

 

Last week I broke down and bought Wyatt his own tree and ornaments for his room. In my mind it was a wonderful idea. In my mind I was thinking, he'll love taking the ornaments off and then putting them back on over and over. In my mind I was thinking, oh, he'll love the lights! I was wrong. He could really care less about the tree, and he really prefers for the ornaments to be on the ground. Actually he threw a temper tantrum the other day because I was trying to put them back on the tree. So, on the ground they lie. Real life.

Last week we drove around to look at Christmas lights. We actually went twice, but on Wednesday everyone must have been at church because nothing was lit up. I'm sure we'll be doing that several more times before Christmas.

 Oh, and did I mention that these two have matching jammies??!! Aren't they the cutest?!

Let me just do a little re--cap on this adorable picture. Do you know how long it took me to get this? TWO DAYS! Yep, that's right! Do you know how hard it is to get a 19 month old boy to sit still and sit next to his sister? Near, impossible! What you don't see....an iPad about 2 inches from his foot and me jumping up and down making ridiculous sounds, hence the confused look on poor Stella's face. Don't worry, I'll do an entire post on all the outtakes from this photo shoot. Well, the ones I haven't deleted.
