Wyatt's 1st Thanksgiving

Monday, December 2, 2013

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend and has had maybe a little time to recuperate.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent at home.  Sean and I enjoyed a delicious meal of ham, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes.  We kept it pretty minimal since it was just the two of us eating, plus we knew we'd be traveling over the weekend (more on that later!).

We woke up Thursday morning and enjoyed some playtime with our number one little man, and watched the Thanksgiving Day parade. Wyatt went down for his nap so Sean and I actually watched a movie and started preparing the food.  We ate and spent the rest of the day relaxing and packing (well, I packed).

I convinced Sean to go to Wal-Mart and try to pick up a Nikon D5100 camera that was on sale for Black Friday.  Sadly, they had only received two and they were gone by the time he arrived.  Luckily, we found an even better deal on one, with a better lens, on eBay.  So, Merry Christmas to me! Although, he says I have to wait until Christmas....we'll just see about that, ha!

I think Wyatt had a pretty awesome first Thanksgiving...spending it with the two people he loves most!
