five on friday {give thanks}

With Thanksgiving less than a week away, my FIVE for today are all about giving thanks.  I could probably do a list of at least 20 things I'm thankful for, but I'll keep it to just five.

--one--
First and foremost, I'm so thankful for my husband.  I know so many think I should probably put Wyatt here, but I feel my husband should always be first.  That's hard to remember when I have someone else who depends on me for everything at this point in his little life, but I do try.  I'm so thankful for how hard he works for us.  He has allowed me the ability to do what I've always wanted, be home with our child(ren). I'm thankful for how much he loves Wyatt, he's such a good daddy (of course, I never had any doubts).  He's such an amazing man.

--two--
I'm thankful for my sweet baby boy.  He's rocked my world, for the better, of course.  I'm thankful I get to wake up every morning to his wonderful voice.  He makes each day new and exciting.  I'm thankful that I'm able to experience all of his milestones with him.  I'm so blessed that God chose me to be his mama.

--three--
I'm thankful for my mom.  She plays the role of "mom" to so many, but I'm so glad that she is mine.  I'm thankful that she now has an iPhone 5 and we can Face Time at any moment. I'm thankful for how much she loves our little boy, I think she forgets that he's not actually hers. I'm thankful for the times that we get to spend together, even if they're not as often as we'd like.

--four--
I'm thankful for my family.  Everyone.  I don't think I ever knew how loved I was until Wyatt was born (I mean that in a good way). I'm thankful for how much everyone loves our boy.  I'm thankful that Christmas is coming and we'll be able to see everyone soon.

--five--
I'm thankful for my friends, near & far.  I don't think I would have made it through the past 6 (almost 7) months without them.  Thank you for the dinners, the unending list of questions, and the nights out (always when I needed it most).
