Since I started meal planning a couple of weeks ago, I'm trying to keep my weekly meal plans on here for anyone who wants them. But, what good is a meal plan if you don't have the recipes to go along with it?? So, with that said, I'm going to try and post at least one recipe a week.
Pizza casserole is a recipe that I've been making for about 2 years now. I first found it on Pinterest and have since modified it and made it my own a bit.
Ingredients:
- egg noodles
- 1lb of turkey sausage
- 2 -14oz jars of pizza sauce
- shredded cheese (I use Fiesta Blend)
- 1 - package of pepperonis
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook egg noodles according to package.
- Cook sausage until brown.
- Mix pizza sauce with sausage.
- In casserole dish layer egg noodles, meat mixture, cheese, and pepperoni. Then repeat again.
6. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
7. When finished let cool for 5-10 minutes.

It's definitely not the most nutritous meal, but it is delicous!
