our weekend

Sami's Shenanigans

We had a really low-key weekend, which I always love! Friday was a pretty uneventful evening. I picked up a pizza and movie.  We watched The Iceman--pretty good movie, based on a true story.
This was my view as I was driving back home.  You can definitely tell that high school football started.  This line was a good mile from the field...and it kept going.

Saturday I woke up and tried to workout a little...we at least got a walk in.  I also got some FaceTime with these little princesses {my nieces}.  Mia was so cute...she kept kissing "Baby Cryatt" through the camera.  It was one of the last times I will see them until Christmas since their family is moving to North Carolina.  A little bit of a sad morning.
I then received this message on FB which brightened my day a bit.  It was a very nice surprise at the perfect time! God always knows what we need...even if we don't.
Saturday afternoon we headed over the Adams house to eat and watch some Razorback football.  Candi was out of town so I was sending her pics of her little guy.  This one is too cute! He snuggled up under Sean's arm and about went to sleep.

Sunday was pretty uneventful, other than the fact that we got a new WASHING MACHINE! I know, I know, most people are not excited about this but I am!  Sean had spent $250 six years ago on a used washer/dryer set and the washer was DONE.NO.GO. STOPPED.  I don't know if you can tell, but I think someone was a bit excited about it.  I'm not even going to lie...we sat on the floor and pretty much watched it run an entire cycle. Even the cats enjoyed the show!

Hope y'all had a great weekend too!
