Three Months!!

Friday, July 26, 2013

Wyatt,
Your daddy and I love you so very much! You are such a blessing to us.  You are growing and changing everyday and we really wish time would just pause for a moment. You're such a happy baby and we're so thankful for that.  We love you baby boy!

What you did this month:
  • You are wearing size 2 diapers and are wearing size 3/6 & 6 months clothes.
  • I weighed you the other day and you are somewhere around 15 pounds!!
  • You still eat every 2 hours during the day.
  • You started sleeping in your crib this month, July 13.
  • You have been going to bed around 8 and then (since we've moved you to your crib) you wake up around 12 and 4 to eat.  You've also started waking up around 7 but I usually try to get you back down for at least another hour or so.
  • You usually go down for a nap around 10:30 and sleep for about 1.5 hours.  Then you go back down around 1 for at least another hour.  In the late afternoon (usually while I'm cooking dinner) you usually take about a 30 minute nap in your swing.
  • You still love your swing.
  • You love your play-time mat...especially in the mornings! I put up a mirror and you love to talk to "your friend".
  • You are getting better with tummy-time and now you can hold your head up at 90 degrees.
  • You still love bath time.  You take one about every other night.
  • You still like your car seat. Your daddy actually put you in it one day for a nap. :)
  • You know when Daddy or I are in the room & you start looking around for us.
  • You and daddy had a guys night while Mama went out with friends.
  • You made your first trip to NWA this month.
  • You are so chatty now.  We love to have conversations with you in "babble" language.

Chicken Spaghetti

Thursday, July 25, 2013

I made Sean's favorite meal last night, chicken spaghetti.  When Sean first moved to Camden he used to eat dinner at Ryan and Candi's pretty frequently.  I think I've finally perfected Candi's recipe to Sean's liking. :)

Ingredients:
  • Chicken - 2-4 breasts depending on how much you're making
  • Spaghetti noodles
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 3 cups of shredded cheese

Directions:
    1. Boil chicken

    2. Cook noodles in the chicken broth from the boiled chicken

    3. Combine cream of chicken, cream of mushroom, rotel, 2 cups of cheese, & cooked noodles in with the shredded chicken.

    4. Put in a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.  I actually cooked ours in the toaster oven.  It takes longer but you don't heat up the house! ;)

    5. Enjoy!

    5 on Friday

    Friday, July 19, 2013

I'm linking up again, on this beautiful Friday, with Darci for 5 on Friday!

    --One--
We FaceTimed with Mimi this week! We always love to see her smiling face.  It's so cute because Wyatt is so chatty with her.  There is no doubt that he loves his Mimi!  Can't wait for another trip to Fayetteville.

    --Two--
This poor little girl has been so left out lately...her little brother is stealing the show.  She's been so patient with us and Wyatt, though.  I think she might actually like him...a little. :)

    --Three--
Our little guy has made it an entire week in his crib!! He's doing so well.  He wakes up around 11:30, 3:30, and he's up for the day at 7:30.   I was so worried he wouldn't adjust well.  He still doesn't care to take naps in it, he prefers the Nap Nanny.

    --Four--
We started looking at planning our five year anniversary trip this week...11 months isn't too early to plan, right??  We're going back to Cumberland Island, it's where we went on our honeymoon.  When we were there we said we'd go back every 5 years.   I think I may be in need of a vacation.
golden isles, getaway vacation, luxury romantic hotel, georgia coast, oceanfront hotel\
    --Five--
Since having Wyatt I've had to cut down on my cow's milk in-take...it just doesn't sit well with the little guy.  So, I've started drinking almond milk and I'm kind of obsessed, especially with the Dark Chocolate.  The best part is that it's only 100 calories a cup...mmmmmmm...I think I'll go get some now!

    Wyatt's 1st Trip to NWA - Days 4 & 5

    Thursday, July 11, 2013

Saturday morning Mom, Wyatt, and I finished up some shopping and then Mallory came by to visit with Wyatt for a little bit.  She and I have been friends since 4th grade...crazy!

How cute is this?? I think he might be a little worn out from all of the kisses this week!  Tiffany came over and we got a little pool time without the kids for a bit...it was so relaxing!

Saturday evening we went over to Sean's grandmother's house.  Wyatt was able to meet Grandma Mary and Grammy Cindy.  He also was surprised when Uncle Mark and Aunt Faith showed up with Mark and Abigail.

Sunday morning Sean, Wyatt, and I got up and around.  We got our things packed up and then we went to the cemetery so Wyatt could meet his Grandpa Mark.  It's very hard for us, especially Sean, knowing Wyatt will never know what a great man he was.  It was an emotional morning.  We then met Mom and Russ for brunch at Denny's before heading home.  We had a great week and we're already looking forward to going back!

    Wyatt's 1st Trip to NWA - Day 3

    Wednesday, July 10, 2013

Friday was Pop's birthday so Wyatt woke up and sang to him!

Wyatt's Aunt Becky came over in the morning to meet him.  She is due in October with Wyatt's newest cousin! He's very excited to meet Paysli!

Kristian and Troy came up for lunch at Hugo's so they could get their hands on Mister Wyatt.  I can't wait for Miss Hattie to arrive any day!

We spent the rest of the day celebrating Pop and admiring these two cuties!

Great Aunt Becky & Aunt Traci
