With all of the wonderful things that happened in 2012, we also suffered some great losses in our family.  We're looking forward to a great year in 2013 with all the many blessings that are ahead!

We Have Made a Decision

I'm so excited to announce that we have decided on a name for "Three"!! 

Wyatt Haischer Dorey

It was quite the process choosing a name for our little guy but we finally made it! 

We started with a list from on-line of 100 boy names and chose 4 out of that list: Carter, Hayden, Judd, Wyatt.  We then narrowed it down to Hayden and Wyatt.... and finally decided on Wyatt the weekend before Christmas.  Haischer is family name.  It was Sean's great grandmother's maiden name, as well as his grandfather's middle name. It's pronounced hi-sure...that's the best I could come up with. :)

We're very excited to finally be able to call him something other than "Three" or buddy!

Grapefruit

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 23 Weeks (12/20/12)

Size of baby: 11.5 inches and about 1.2 pounds! Right now our baby is the size of a grapefruit!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +/- 18 pounds...

Maternity Clothes: I'm definitely wearing maternity clothes! My favorite is my leggings.

Gender: BOY!!...still nameless, but we've got it narrowed down to two!!

Movement: He sleeps most of the day while I'm at work...probably because I'm moving constantly. Once I get home and put my feet up he comes alive!! I can already tell he's probably going to like a swing or rocker.

Food Cravings: Still no cravings....I do enjoy a good hamburger and french fries. :)

Food Aversion: Not really...still avoiding hummus, just in case.

What I miss: Sleeping on my back! Sean's even having to tell me to turn over....

Sleep: I'm sleeping OK, the body pillow helps some. I just have to wake up and flip off of my back pretty often. I'm also getting up at least once a night to pee.  I'm also becoming exhausted during the day again...I thought this would stop until the 3rd trimester, but obviously not.  I'm hoping a little break helps.
Symptoms: Still having back pain...guess it wasn't the cold. It usually starts in the afternoon and lasts until I go to bed...a little annoying but it's OK.
Best Moment this Week: Picking a few things out for his room!
What I am Looking Forward To: Spending some time with family!!

Papaya

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 22 Weeks (12/13/12)

Size of baby: 11 inches and about 1 pound! Right now our baby is the size of a papaya!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +/- 18 pounds...I feel huge, especially in this awful picture!

Maternity Clothes: I'm definitely wearing maternity clothes! My favorite is my leggings.

The Sunday Social

1. Favorite Holiday Movies/TV Specials?
I always enjoy Christmas Vacation and Elf!

2. Do you do any volunteering during the holidays if so what? If not what would you do?
I wouldn't necessarily call it volunteering but Sean and I both donate money through our work for "Angel's" that live in our area.

3. Favorite toy received as a Child for the Holidays?
It's definitely a toss up between all the awesome Barbie toys and accessories, and my first stereo! I still remember  when I got that stereo, my first cd I received was Ace of Base. Sweet!

4. What was your must have item in high school for the Holidays?
Definitely a cell phone!

5. Item you begged for the most and never got?
A horse??  I don't really know!

6. What do you do on Christmas Eve? If you are Jewish what does your family do for Hanukkah?
We always spend Christmas Eve at my grandparents house.  We eat a huge lunch and then open presents together...it's the best!  Then we head to Sean's brother's house and do presents with his family.

Size of baby: 10.5 inches and about 12.7 ounces. Right now our baby is the size of a pomegranate!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +/- 18 pounds

Movement: He's moving like crazy!! Especially at night when I'm sitting with my feet up or after I've eaten.

Food Cravings: Still no cravings....I do enjoy a good hamburger and french fries. :)

Banana

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 20 Weeks (11/29/12)...better late than never. :)

Size of baby: 6.5 inches and about 10.2 ounces. Right now our baby is the size of a banana!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: +/- 15 pounds 

Maternity Clothes: I'm definitely wearing maternity clothes! My favorite is my leggings.

Movement: He's moving like crazy!!  Especially at night when I'm sitting with my feet up.

Garvan Woodland Gardens

Over the weekend Sean and I went to Hot Springs with our dear friends, Ryan, Candi, and the little ones...of course.  Our main purpose for going was to visit Garvan Woodland Gardens and see the Christmas lights. Of course, though, we couldn't go to HS without making at least one stop at Best Buy (for an emergency reason!) and getting some delicious food at Red Lobster!  We arrived promptly at 5:15, just 15 minutes after they turned on the lights, and we had a great time!  (Last year we weren't so lucky!) It was beautiful...I don't think these pictures even begin to show the beauty!

 

 

All of these lights made me so excited and got me thinking about my favorite thing to do the night before Christmas Eve....go to the Hodo's of course!!  It's the most amazing thing! They time their lights to music...probably about 6 songs in all.  But not only is it timed, the music is actually on a radio station so you can hear it in your car! If you go on Friday or Saturday nights Santa Clause is usually there as well...definitely something to check out!

1. What is your favorite holiday season tradition?

Spending Christmas Eve at my grandparents house.  We open eat, open gifts, and enjoy one another's company! I've done it since my first Christmas!

2. Do you have a certain holiday movie you watch more than others? If so what is it?

Not necessarily.  I tend to watch different movies each year.  My favorite is probably Christmas Vacation, though!

3. Show us your favorite decoration or Pinterest decoration you wish you could have.

This is my favorite ornament this year! I bought it when I was 7 weeks pregnant at the Clothesline Fair.

4. What is your favorite holiday song?

Definitely, "Baby It's Cold Outside"

5. What is your favorite holiday dessert?

Chocolate pecan pie

6. What is on your wishlist this year?

I want a necklace or bracelet with our son's initials on it.
