Back-to-School

Friday, August 10, 2012

As you can probably tell, from my lack of blogging, I am back-to-school.
Over the weekend I got all of my back-to-school shopping done in Fayetteville.
I was glad to spend a little time with mom before getting back into the swing of things.

Monday we started our first day....and I had a lot to do!
They were supposed to have painted our classrooms this summer.  So I had taken everything off the walls in preparation for that.  Well, turns out they didn't paint! Oh, well!
Our Open House was Thursday night, so from Monday to Thursday afternoon I had to rearrange the room, put everything back up on the walls, and get the kids' names on everything.....and in the mean time get some PD in.  The word busy is an understatement for this week!

Open  House was great!! I had about 18 out of 23 families attend.  I loved getting to meet some of my new students.  I think it's going to be a really great year!!

If I bring you my son, do you think you could infect him with some of your positive attitude about school starting? As far he's concerned, the start of another school year is the worst thing since the Spanish Inquistion.
