Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Normal Weekend

Monday, July 30, 2012

We finally had a couple days of normalcy this past weekend.  There hasn't been one weekend in the past month where we've been home.  It was really nice...and a little relaxing.
Friday night we just hung out at home and watched the opening ceremony of the Olympics.  Sean actually slept through it since he had to be at work at 5 that morning.  On Saturday morning I mowed the yard...which had become a complete disaster in the 3 weeks since the last mow.  We hit up Larry's Pizza for lunch and enjoyed a Saturday matinee, The Watch.  It was really funny...strange...but funny.
Sunday morning we slept in and just relaxed.  We spent that afternoon at Candi and Ryan's helping with yard work and playing with the little ones.  Candi made some delicious bbq chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob...DELISH!!

I have to be back at school exactly one week from today...so I'm going to try and enjoy the last week as best I can.  Hoping to maybe do a little shopping this coming weekend...since it is TAX FREE!!

Twi-hard

Friday, July 27, 2012

I must admit that I am a complete Twilight fan....I just can't help myself.  I think my infatuation is more about Robert Pattinson than anything, but whatever.
And now I have become completely obsessed with this Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders scandal....again, I just can't help myself.  I am a hopeless romantic and I was convinced that Kristen and Rob were in it for the long haul.

But, don't worry, I'm not crazy upset like these girls on YouTube or anything.  These girls are just CRAZY!  These videos were a nice comic relief for me, enjoy!

50 Shades of WHAT??

Thursday, July 26, 2012

OK, so I put it off and put it off....but I did finally read all 3 (yes 3!!) of the 50 Shades books while we were on vacation.  And I loved them!! OMGOSH, I could not put them down for the life of me!
I'm a little embarrassed to admit it...but I'm actually reading the first one again.  I know, I know! But I couldn't remember when some of the events took place.

I highly suggest if you haven't read them...you DO! If you can get past some of the language and a lot of the "kinkery", it's a great love story!

Now I just have to wait for the movie!! HA!

  1. Brown 1lb. of meat.

  3. Lay out 4 of the crescent triangles.
  4. Top each one with pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and meat.
  5. Top with crescent roll triangle.
  6. Spray with olive oil and sprinkle seasoning on top.
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes.

Show Us Your Life - Bathrooms

Friday, July 6, 2012

I'm so excited to be linking up with Kelly's Korner today!!
I've been waiting to show off my husband's CrAzY GOOD DIY skills!

I'll start with the master bath.  Hopefully the next time you see this bathroom it will be gone! We're hoping to start a "Master Suite" addition sometime this year...fingers crossed!
It's a very plain jane bathroom.  We just added two recessed lights and a ventilation fan.  Apparently if you have a window in your bathroom you don't need a fan...HA! They've never spent a summer in Camden!

This is our guest bathroom, or second bathroom.  When we bought the house this was a HUGE eye sore...luckily I didn't have to live in it then. :)  As you can see it was peach, but what you can't see is that it's peach stucco! You would literally cut your hand if you rubbed your hand against the wall!
So Sean got to work.
He literally had to sand down the entire wall.  We had to rig up set up a fan system and he had to wear a mask (just so he could breathe!) while he did it...INTENSE!
Once he got it sanded then he had to re-texture the wall and part of the ceiling (we had to install a new ventilation system for this bathroom as well).
 Then we repainted EVERYTHING!

Oh, and I forgot to mention, Sean also made the frames for the mirrors!
(They look a little crooked but I promise they're not!)

This little bathroom is my pride and joy!
