WOW! What an amazing weekend we had! The weather was uhh-mazing,we practically lived outside all weekend. We were kind of regretting not taking full advantage of it and camping in the backyard.
{FRIDAY}
Daddy had to work all morning so we headed for a morning trip to the park, before heading to the store.
Friday afternoon I had an eye appointment and took advantage of the alone time by enjoying a Diet Dr. Pepper from Sonic...alone. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing outside and grilling hamburgers.
{SATURDAY}
Daddy had to work a half-day again so the kids and I hung around the house for a while. Wyatt started to get restless so we headed to the park for a picnic. After the park we headed to the store to pick up some Easter eggs for hunting.
Once Daddy got home he took over Stella and I worked on our California trip! (More on that for another post!)
I mentioned in Friday's post that Sean is competing in a steak cook-off next weekend. Part of the competition is an appetizer, so we worked on that Saturday night. We made some grilled Salmon cakes. They were so good!
Another beautiful and relaxing day! We got up and around for church. Y'all I was actually ready for church a whole hour early...amazing. There was no rush or panic and it was so needed.

Again we spent the entire afternoon outside. We ate our pizza lunch outside on the back porch and played.
I'm so glad we had this awesome weekend because this week is calling for rain almost everyday. I'm just really hoping it stops by Saturday so we're not spending all day cooking in the rain.
