A Life Update

Promise I'm still here. I hope to be back to my regular blogging routine very soon. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and I'm ready for things to slow down a bit. This weekend my parents came down so (1) we could celebrate my mama's birthday and (2) they could help with the kids while I ran a fundraiser.

The fundraiser was Saturday morning. I know I've mentioned before that I have a friend who is currently fighting a tough fight with liver cancer. We had a yard sale/bake sale fundraiser for her family and it went so well. We've also been doing a t-shirt fundraiser so I've been heading that up as well. Between that, teaching, and keeping my family going I don't have much time for anything else. Oh, except I've also joined our local Junior Auxiliary chapter. What's one more thing??

We had a great weekend celebrating my mama though! I think she definitely enjoyed her time with Wyatt and Stella. We hadn't seen her since Labor Day weekend. We got some yummy take-out for dinner on Saturday AND the Hogs won!!

Now I've got to get busy grading, and planning a little girl's 1st birthday party that's happening in two weeks!!
