Four Months!!

Our Dearest Stella,

You have had quite the month, baby girl. From hospital stays to doctor and hospital visits, we've been busy. You've been such a trooper through everything and have just gone with the flow. Your little bubbly personality is shining through and you love to show it off to anyone who will pay attention. We love you, little monster!

 

What you did this month:  

• You are weighing about 12 pounds. 
• You are wearing size 3 and 3/6M clothes.  You wear size 6M in pajamas, just for the extra room.
• You are wearing size 2 Pampers Swaddlers.
• You nurse every 2-3 hours during the day and 5-6 hours at night.
• You are finally on somewhat of a routine with naps. You tend to take one around 9/10 for maybe an hour. Then you take a longer 2-3 hour nap around 1/2, and then a cat nap in the evenings.
• Your long afternoon nap is taken in our closet; it's the darkest place in the house.
• You usually go down at night around 9/10 and then wake around 2/3 to nurse. Then you wake again around 6 to nurse. I can usually get you back down until your brother wakes up around 8.  
• You still sleep in the Fisher Price Rock and Play Sleeper at night in our room. Occasionally you take your morning nap in your crib.
• You enjoy laying down on the Boppy in the living room.
• You had your first giggle this month. I still haven't been able to get you to do it for the camera.
• You're getting better with tummy time; it's still not your favorite thought. You're really good at holding your head up though.
• You still prefer to sit up so you can look around. We've tried the Bumbo a few times.  
• You jibber jabber all the time.
• You spent two nights in the hospital this month with RSV and a UTI. You were put on liquids and an antibiotic for the UTI.
• You also had to have a CT done at Children's to check for Craniosynotosis. Thankfully your little skull is just fine.
• You have had more blood drawn this month than mama can handle.
• You have become obsessed with your daddy. If you hear him you immediately start looking around to find him. You enjoy your cuddle time with him now!
• Wyatt has held you twice this month, for about 5 seconds. But, hey, we're getting somewhere!
