Wait, what?!!

Oh, where to begin! I guess I'll start with Saturday night, to give a little insight to what we're dealing with.

Saturday evening Sean and I went on an early dinner date, them came home and got Wyatt and headed to Home Depot. We got home, put Wyatt to bed, and were {ironically} looking at air conditioners when we heard a dripping sound. We realized it was coming from the a/c unit and found there was water everywhere...under the flooring in the hall, bathroom, our closet, and the office.  We immediately got in touch with AllState but, of course, nothing could be done until today.

Fast forward to today.

Sean called this morning and informed me that he'd been in contact with AllState and they were sending someone from ServPro to check for moisture and mold.  He said he'd let me know before they got here and try to be here.  Well, what do you know, while Wyatt was napping and I was "resting" on the couch the guys showed up from ServPro, unannounced, that was at about 1:30.  Of course, Wyatt immediately woke up when I was trying to show them all the areas of concern.  Three hours later, and three hours of me saying, "No Wyatt, don't touch that!" "Stay in here with mama." "Hey, let's watch some more Mickey Mouse!" the guys finally left. They had drilled holes into our baseboards, removed baseboards, drilled holes into the drywall, sprayed special mold prevention "stuff", and left behind 4 giant fans and 2 giant humidifiers. Oh, and I had to move all of my clothes out of the closet and onto a table in our study. Ugh....

To say I was completely exhausted and overwhelmed would be an understatement.  I think all of the stress from the addition finally hit.  And the realization that our baby girl probably won't have a nursery ready when she's born. That's something that's really been bothering me but I've been trying not to worry too much.  I know she won't sleep in there right away anyway, but I haven't been able to do much of anything to prepare for her.

I'm hoping tomorrow is a better day, even though I know it's going to be another busy day.
